Reasons why girls are so protective towards their manicure.
because
1. if you went for a manicure somewhere
it's pretty expensive since you don't have to put in any effort of your own
and though it's considered a pampering of yourself,
the price will still (to me at least) hurt.
2. if you did it yourself.
imagine the time and effort put in!
painting the base coat, two coats of color, top coat.
not to mention the careful putting on of nail art
and the waiting time for the coats to dry.
haste is strictly prohibited lest you ruin the whole nail and you have to start all over again.
sadly, mine is number two,
since
someone who is supposed to book the slot for manicure for me didn't,
and all the places are full.
sigh.
spent an antagonizing 4 hours doing my nails.
almost fell asleep in the process.
from 1 to almost 5!!
a.m.!
anyone who ruins my nails will be banished
banished from getting any ang pows.
wahahaha.
